Our automated and air conditioned plant is equipped with the most sophisticated German tea bagging machinery: Constanta. While Mohan de Lanerolle the Chairman – was responsible for setting up the very first Constanta machine in Sri Lanka – the family is also renowned for their technical expertise on the machinery. Ambassador Tea's Team consist of skilled staff who have undergone specific training in Germany and the United Kingdom on all relative machinery and practice quality control and management procedures certified by AOTS, Japan.

In 2001 Ambassador Tea was the largest contract packer in Sri Lanka utilizing over 14 machines. Today we pack for select clientele such as Lipton and we are known as one of the most quality conscious contract packers in the island.

We are experts in the string and tag bag production with capabilities to handle flavored and specific herbal teas and pack for various regions ranging from the Middle East to a number of European countries.
